About me

I'm Gemma, mum of 2 girls, step mum of 2 girls.  My youngest was born during the first lockdown in 2020, when there was so much uncertainty, anxiety and pregnant women were told we were high risk and to isolate for 12 weeks.  It's been a very interesting journey so far with lots of highs and lows but I am so grateful for all the extra precious time with this gorgeous little girl.

I wanted to capture all our special moments so we can always remember them.  When I looked for a baby journal to record her first year, nothing felt appropriate. Lots had prompts in, many of which we were missing out on and would have to leave blank so I thought I would make my own little journal for her. I wanted to create something beautiful that I could write anything I liked inside.

When others saw it, they loved it as much as I did, so I thought perhaps I could create more for other parents too.

 

Then Cheeky Little Smiles was born.
